ISO 26000 – Development of Social Responsibility Standard
As consumers become more sensitive to issues of corporate dishonesty and the marketing of products with known problems, all companies struggle to convey to potential customers their own efforts to act and do business with consideration of their social responsibilities. Facing a host of possible "credentials" in responsible environmental practices, fair labor policies, honesty in advertising, etc. companies find it difficult to develop an appropriate suite of "social responsibility practices" and nearly impossible to respond to audiences seeking more and more open communication.
This one hour introductory Webinar is designed to bring understanding to the importance of social responsibility, show how it relates to sustainability, and provide an overview of the process and status of development regarding the ISO 26000 standard.
