ASQ Sections

Meet and learn the business of quality from people in your community.

Find the Section Nearest You

More than 250 volunteer-run local ASQ sections in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Costa Rica allow you to meet and learn the business of quality from people in your community. The International Chapter is available for members primarily outside North America or where local sections do not yet exist. One Geographic section membership is included in your Full membership.

Most sections offer:

  • meetings
  • newsletters
  • online information
  • educational courses, seminars, and conferences
  • certification exam preparatory programs

You can also get involved by becoming a section member leader. As a member leader, you can enhance your leadership skills, increase your visibility in the quality community, and publicly develop and support the quality movement.

ASQ Subsections

A number of subsections have been formed to meet the needs of section members who find it difficult to participate in section activities because they live a considerable distance from the nearest section.
If a state has a subsection, it will appear on the same search results page as that particular state's list of sections.

ASQ Student Branches

ASQ student members can get involved on campus by leading or participating in student branch activities. ASQ student branches are sponsored by local sections and led by a student branch counselor who is a section member and faculty or staff of the host institution.

ASQ Other Groups

Sections may collaborate in officially recognized groups to provide services to members over a larger geographic area. The Midwest Quality Alliance and North East Quality Council are two such groups.

e-Section

The e-Section is a unique resource for networking, education and information exchange in an electronic venue.  Activities and interactions include discussion boards for idea exchange and networking, a distinct Web site for resources on a variety of quality-related topics, and learning event opportunities.
