State, Local Governments can Increase Efficiencies and Save Taxpayer Dollars

ASQ Offers GSA Pricing to All Government Agencies

Milwaukee, Wis., October 29, 2008 – The American Society for Quality (ASQ) has announced that it is now offering prices equal to its General Services Administration (GSA) rates to all state and local government agencies on select instructor-led and Web-based training products. As a GSA contract holder, ASQ has previously offered special pricing on its training products only to federal government agencies.

“Government agencies at any level can implement quality tools such as Six Sigma to increase effectiveness and improve customer satisfaction,” said Dale F. Weeks, chair of the ASQ Government Division. “With ASQ offering GSA training prices to state and local governments, they can gain efficiency while saving taxpayer dollars.”

As part of the new pricing offer, participants receive a discount of up to 25 percent on the list price of more than 300 select instructor-led and Web-based training products. These include:

  • ASQ Six Sigma Training
  • ASQ e-Learning
  • ASQ Classroom-based Training
  • ASQ On-site Training

A complete list of ASQ courses with special GSA pricing information can be found at http://www.asq.org/gsa.
