Dues Adjustment Ensures Member Value Delivery
In accordance with Policy and Procedure F 10.01, ASQ’s board of directors conducted an annual review of the membership dues model. The following analysis was reviewed:
- A calculation to determine a Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjusted dues forecast
- A cost model to approximate the cost of providing an ASQ membership and associated benefits
- A comparative market survey of other professional and/or engineering societies
This year’s review found the cost to deliver the benefits and services of an ASQ membership has increased approximately 2% in the past year. To help the Society stay ahead of inflating costs the board approved a small increase in dues effective July 1, 2008.
The tables below illustrate the 2008-09 dues for individual and organization membership types effective July 1, 2008.
