The Basque Foundation for Quality, known as EUSKALIT, is a not-for-profit organization that promotes total quality management in the region of Spain known as Basque Country. Its website has free articles and information on EUSKALIT, its 5S club, European Quality Week and the Basque Quality Award. While this is the address of the English homepage, some of the links send users to pages in Spanish.

The National Quality Institute (NQI), a not-for-profit organization in Canada, promotes excellence, quality and healthy workplace practices. Its Web site includes a calendar of events, job postings, training information and several articles. The latest issue of NQI’s magazine, Excellence, is also available. Any Canadian organization can be a member.

The Pakistan Institute of Quality Control provides training and consulting services to organizations in and outside of Pakistan. The Web site includes a total quality management dictionary, a list of free case studies available for order and PDFs of the institute’s newsletter.

The Quality Council of Alberta (QCA) is a not-for-profit society
that promotes quality practices in organizations in the Canadian
province. Its website offers information on QCA membership, events
and awards, as well as several quality related links. The QCA Awards
Program is considered a steppingstone to the Canada Awards of Excellence,
administered by Canada’s National Quality Institute.

The Saudi National Quality Committee provides a detailed website
that includes information for quality professionals from all countries.
The Quality College section features information on quality awards
and leaders, a glossary and links. Other sections include information
on publications, membership, activities and standards.

The TÜV Rheinland Group describes itself as an international service company that “documents the safety and quality of new and existing products, systems and services.” Its Web site is mostly a collection of links to TÜV’s national affiliates, which cover more than 50 countries on five continents.
