The Government Accountability Office studies the programs and expenditures of the federal government for Congress and writes reports on these matters. Some reports on how taxpayer dollars are being spent relate to quality and improvement efforts of federal departments and agencies.

full of valuable information, including competency profiles, articles
on leadership skills development, learning resources and assessment tools.
While some information is in French only, most is available in both French

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s website gives HR practitioners information on upcoming conferences across the nation, government sponsored speeches on HR and personnel management, and relevant publications. The site also contains a comprehensive index and information on the President’s Quality Award as well as a PDF copy of the President’s Management Agenda, on which the award is based.

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Quality Management Program’s site features free articles, how-to guides, other documents and links. It also includes a quality awards directory, a DoD best practices database and DoD success stories. The success stories can be viewed all at once but are also searchable by military branch and by desired project results, which includes time saved, readiness, safety and quality of life.

The state of Ohio and its largest union, the Ohio Civil Service Employees
Association, have a Quality Services Through Partnership agreement. The
two sites describe this quality initiative and provide links to information
on quality training, facilitator training, team excellence, a quality
network, leadership skills and best practices.
