The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is the well-known agency of the U.S. Department of Labor established to prevent work related injuries, illnesses and deaths. OSHA standards are available on its website by clicking on the "Standards" link on the right side of the homepage. Standards are split into three categories--general industry, maritime and construction--and cover topics ranging from open fires personal protective equipment to marine log handling.
