Timothy M. King, CQ Manager, CQA

Tim has held various management and operational leadership positions in the private manufacturing sector, including product design (CAD) management, employee training & development, new product design, and leadership development. Tim works with senior managers and teams to improve daily and strategic practices, including team development, strengthening supervision skills, applying CQI methodologies throughout the organization, and developing effective performance management and communication systems. Tim also facilitates leadership retreats and coaches managers on improving leadership effectiveness. In the private sector, Tim held various management and operational leadership positions including product design engineering, staff training & development, corporate leadership development and process improvement "project management."

Tim holds a Masters in Adult Learning and a Masters in Engineering. He is an ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) and Auditor (CQA), a certified Professional Human Resource Manager (PHR) with the Society for Human Resource Management, and a 2004 National Examiner- The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Tim is the current Vice-Chair of the Vermont Section of American Society for Quality (ASQ) and presents at various conferences and universities, both nationally and internationally.

Tim’s customer satisfaction performance typically runs in the top two boxes on a 1-5 Likert scale.
