Probabilistic Technology Community
Welcome to the PTC. The Probabilistic Technology Community is a society of professionals in business, industry, government, and academia interested in learning about, promoting, and using probabilistic technology.
In mid-2006, the PTC was organized with the mission to lead a national cultural change to promote the use of probabilistic technology in making decisions in business, finances, science and technology, engineering, and economics. The PTC intends to help drive the United States to the forefront once again as the most competitive nation in the world and never yield that position.
We aim to promote the use of probabilistic technology through education,
development of standards, and liaisons with academia, Congress, industry,
government, and other technical societies. The driving force behind the
PTC is the Probabilistic Technology Leadership Council or PTLC, which consists of presidents and vice-presidents
of industry, flag officers in the armed services, and flag equivalents
in government, senior program managers, other top level decision makers,
and other highly qualified individuals approved by the Board of Directors.
Individually, the PTLC members see to it that probabilistic
technology is promoted within their respective organizations. As a group,
they formulate the agenda to bring probabilistic technology to the entire
nation.
The PTLC's agenda is implemented by the PTC Board of Directors and various committees. View committee information. By becoming a member, you gain access to education and articles on probabilistic technology, and opportunities to network with others. By becoming a member of one of the PTC committees, you can make a difference.
Note: Registering on this web site does not automatically make you a member of the PTC, although it does give you access to additional information on the web site. Similarly, becoming a member of the PTC does not imply or require ASQ membership, although PTC recommends that you explore the many valuable resources offered by ASQ membership through the links above right.
